Mei Wei Si opened in July 2019, joining the row of authentic Northern Chinese Korean restaurants serving Chinese Korean food on Union Street.

The owners of Mei Wei Si, from the Northeastern part of China, serve authentic Northern Chinese Korean food, peppered with fragrant herbs and spices like the numbing peppers. Those who frequent the restaurant enjoy Chinese Korean menus such as the vinegary guobaorou (sweet and sour pork) and disanxian (vegetable stir fry).

At Met Wei Si, customers can try both mainland Chinese style menus as well as Korean menus at one go, accompanied with both Korean and Chinese alcohol options.
